GREAT SERIES.... Sexy but not Trashy... LOVED IT!!!!

This was a new author for me... I was very intrigued by the concept of 12 guys, 12 months...
Once I started I could not stop, I purchased them all on audio, and listened to them one right after the other...
I didn't take long to fall in love with the characters.
I was afraid that Mia would come off as a prostitute... but that is so not the case... Sex is a big part of these books, but it's not ALL about sex... some months she does not get intimate with her clients at all.

Great steamy series that will make you laugh a lot

Let me start off with the fact that I loved this series. I loved that main character as she is the definition of a bad ass chick. Her and her best friend' s relationship is hilarious with their crude language that shows how close they are. I feel her sister might be a little off mark with how innocent she is, but with a bad ass sister they kind of balance each other out. The men are all entertaining in their own way and the experiences they give her are awesome. Her aunt seemed like she was running hot and cold most of the time and you would think that if she loved her nieces so much that she would help them more than what she does. All in all it was a great series. There was only a few things that I wasn't fond of number 1 being the price of the books for how short each month was (around 140 pages-ish each for $2.99 and there are 12 months in the series). The other thing was the amount of sex verse actual plot. The sex was hot for the first few sex scenes, but there were so many of them and they were so long that I wound up just skimming them and moving on. The number of times she turned down money to pay back the bad guy made me want to strangle her since it would put her in a better situation and it she could pay back the money without it having to be life threatening. If you want something to read that will make you laugh your butt off while still having the yummy man factor in it I would recommend this.

I kept seeing this set of books showing up on Facebook for "what to read after Fifty Shades." I love the story behind Fifty Shades. With that being said I finally broke down and purchased this first 3 of Calendar Girl. Let me just say I was not disappointed. Personally for me there were some part of the entire 12 book set that I almost skipped over just because I couldn't wait to see what happened, even though I knew what the final outcome was more than likely going to be. Needless to say I am kicking myself for waiting so long to read these. I would have liked to see more of a "what happens to them?" ending vs. the small follow that was done on each character. However it was still an amazing read.
